Coincidence? Jewel Heist in Cannes During Bling Ring Screening
Last night in Cannes, more than $1 million worth of jewelry was stolen from a hotel room. The New York Times reports that the jewels were meant to be lent to movie stars during the film festival. The jewels were in the safe of the room rented by an employee of Chopard, a luxury jeweler, the source said on condition of anonymity.
